I hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine’s week. I know I did! Being a grad student forced the romantic even to be cut short the romantic evening and finish a presentation. My wife was understanding, partly because she too had to finish some homework. We chose not to go out because we didn’t want to have to deal with the holiday crowd. We would prefer to make our own meal, relax at home, and spend quality time together rather than the alternative of going out to eat. See below for some great articles from around the web…

It’s hard to enjoy V Day with young kids. My son screams at his mom because that is the stage he is in and my daughter is a grabber at 11 months old. We call her the claw. We were in a packed elevator the other day and she snatched a pair of glasses off of a stranger. We all laughed but she can do quick damage…
