What’s the best investment for someone just out of college? Does it really matter when you have lots of time before you retire? Isn’t it more important to enjoy life while you can? These are types of questions everyone asks at some point. I’m here to answer some of them.
I faced these questions too!
After graduating from college, I was forced to learn the essentials of finances. I had lots of questions about how I should be budgeting, what I should be investing in, how to buy a home, etc. I have learned (and am still learning) important lessons about my personal finances. Many of these things are still to come in my life, but in planning for the future I have begun to read about these things.
I don’t have any great, motivational story about how I was in debt and later changed my life. Finances have always come pretty easy to me. This does not mean, however, that I have always known all the options available to me or that I haven’t made mistakes. You can read more about it in my brief financial history.
