Weekend Wrap Up – Expansion Edition

This past week has been a great week. I decided to give my new idea a shot. I started a new blog in an effort to increase my possibility to expand my online income. I enjoy blogging so much, that I figured I would give it a try. At first I was going to keep it a secret because I know many people will think I am crazy, but I figured I will let them think what they want. I want to be who I am and not try to hide this from anyone.

In case you are wondering which blog I started, it is called Passive Income to Retire. It details my new goal to try and establish multiple income streams (mostly online) that will give me enough money to replace my day job income to be able to “retire”. I recognize that I won’t just be able to sit idly by and that it will take work. That’s why I have the stipulation that I only work 3 days a week (eventually). So, hopefully by age 27, I will have a stable income from various efforts that will allow me the freedom to invest my extra time elsewhere. Whether that be contributing to causes, getting involved in the local community efforts, or visiting family. I hope to start with these two blogs and my carnival submission service (details on my Corey for Hire page) and expand even more over the next couple of years. If you haven’t noticed, I love talking about real estate on this blog – that is going to be part of the plan too!

Well I’ll certainly be following you over the next few years! I think it’s great that people don’t want to work 9-5 the rest of their lives. This is a goal that I have been formulating over the last year.

Just FYI you and I are beginning the same journey at the same time.
